1995 Cremello PRE Andalusian Stallion
Doctor XVI x Navarra MHF
Dressage, Driving
As Champagne & Roses' coloring is highly unusual for an Andalusian, only select mares will be allowed to breed to him, as we want to ensure that resulting foals not be born with some of the genetic problems associated with Cremello horses. Below is a list of what colors bred to Champagne & Roses will result in.
The Champagne Gene in horses is one of the most difficult genes to breed for, and with. Champ's rare coloring and gentic testing proves that he is a positive carrier of the Champagne Gene. He is also a double creme dilute and dominate for the agouti gene, while also being preotent for the creme gene. A full 100% of Champ's foals will inherit the creme color gene, and they will have a 50% chance of inheriting the champagne gene.
